CAIRO – Egypt’s Emigration Ministry is taking part in activities of the third Logos Coptic Youth Forum (LYF) 2022, currently held in Egypt, said Minister Soha Gendy Sunday.

The LYF opened in the city of Alamein on August 20 and should last until August 27. It is held under the auspices of the Coptic Orthodox Church and is being attended by Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese.

Gendy said her Ministry is participating in an exhibition that is organized on the sidelines of the LYF.

A pavilion of the Ministry offers a display of activities aimed at protecting Egyptian youth abroad, Gendy said, citing the “Speak Arabic” initiative and the Dialogue Center for Egyptians Studying Abroad (MEDCE).

The Ministry is also scheduled to hold a meeting with youth in New Alamein City and another in the papal headquarters in Wadi el Natroun, she added.

The minister also said that a tour of Abdeen Palace in Cairo will also be organized as part of the forum.
