EL KHARGA – Egyptian Emigration Minister Nabila Makram began on Thursday a visit to the New Valley governorate by planting a palm tree in the June 30 Park as part of a presidential initiative to plant 2.5 million palm trees.
The minister inspected the park which is built over nine feddan area and it includes playgrounds, swimming pool, water sports, mosque and cycling route.
The minister is in the governorate to take part in a seminar aiming at enhancing youths’ sense of belonging and raising awareness of threats to national security.
