Egypt’s Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi said Sunday that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has one of the biggest Egyptian communities abroad.
In statements upon arrival in the UAE to meet Egyptian community members there to listen to their queries, viewpoints and ideas, the minister said she will take part in the international conference for peace makers and development 2022.
The minister is due to be honored and awarded an international prize from the Arab-European Centre for Human Rights and International Law, said a statement issued by the ministry.
The statement said that minister had met with representatives of the Egyptian communities in 11 countries including those in the United States, Australia and Canada.
