Egypt’s State Minister of Emigration Soha Gendy announced the ministry’s launch of an operation room to follow up the voting of Egyptians abroad in the presidential election 2024 which starts on Friday and runs for three days.
All the questions of the Egyptians abroad will be answered around the clock in coordination with the National Election Authority.
The voting will be from 9 am until 9 pm on December 1, 2 and 3 local time of any country, a statement of the ministry quoted Gendy as saying on Thursday.
The authority set some regulations for the voting process of Egyptians abroad, including having a valid passport or ID, she said.
Egyptian expats represent an important part of decision-making in Egypt, she said.
