President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met in El-Alamein on Monday with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Justice Minister Mahmoud Helmy El-Sherif to review key files related to the Ministry of Justice.

The meeting covered progress on the Justice City project in the New Administrative Capital, including its digital infrastructure, digital transformation systems and modern technologies planned for its judicial facilities.

El-Sisi stressed that the project aims to establish an integrated digital judicial environment befitting the New Republic, facilitate swift justice and provide high-quality judicial services to citizens. He directed that the project be completed on schedule and in accordance with the highest technical standards.

The president also reviewed developments in real estate registration and notarisation services. The Justice Ministry has signed cooperation protocols with the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr to establish 11 premium notarisation branches at their premises. Additional mobile notarisation vehicles operating under a one-stop-shop system have also been deployed to provide services quickly and efficiently.

The meeting also addressed efforts to improve family court services, including an electronic system linking government services to individuals who fail to pay alimony through 38 primary court offices, helping safeguard family rights.

Justice Minister El-Sherif also reviewed measures to accelerate case resolution, including an integrated digital system for managing criminal court proceedings, the Unified Digital Justice Strategy and the Participatory Platform for Judicial Bodies’ Data.

El-Sisi stressed the need to expand advanced services, ease the burden on citizens, resolve pending cases more quickly and improve performance.

He also underscored the importance of applying the highest cybersecurity and digital sovereignty standards to protect litigants’ data and ensuring the swift enforcement of alimony judgments.
