El Arish International Airport received on Wednesday five planes laden with 131 tonnes of aid relief, including medical supplies and equipment.
In statements on Wednesday, the head of the Egyptian Red Crescent branch in North Sinai, Dr. Khaled Zayed, said that the planes are from Belgium, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Germany.
Since October 12, El-Arish International Airport has received 325 planes carrying about 9,631 tons of aid, he said, noting that aid came from 35 Arab and foreign countries as well as 15 regional and international organisations.
