Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call with his Yemeni counterpart Shaea Mohsen Al-Zandani to review the latest developments in Yemen. The discussion came within the framework of ongoing consultation and coordination between the two countries.
Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast position in support of Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity, stressing Cairo’s commitment to backing Yemen’s national institutions and legitimate government in line with relevant international resolutions. He emphasized that Egypt’s support aims to help achieve security, stability, and meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people.
