Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo Diab El-Louh said Tuesday that coordination efforts by the Egyptian leadership are continued with all regional and international parties to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people, reach a ceasefire and allow the largest quantities of humanitarian aid via Rafah border crossing.
Interviewed by “Misr Al Gadidah” TV programe aired on ETC Channel, the Palestinian diplomat asserted that the situation in Gaza is unbearable as electricity and water have been cut for almost a month, adding that Israel has already destroyed the communication infrastructure since the early days of the war.
He pointed out that Israeli authorities are banning the entry of any aids to Gaza, and all humanitarian aid and commodities that have recently entered Gaza are not enough.
The Palestinian diplomat also highlighted the collapse of the health care system and that the Israeli troops are targeting every moving object on the ground and 70 percent of the housing units have been destroyed in the enclave.
