CAIRO – The Egyptian Cabinet’s media center has denied the reports circulated about halting health insurance services for female heads of households.
In a statement released on Friday, the center said it has contacted the Ministry of Health and Population, which dismissed such reports stressing that no such decision has been taken.
The center urged media outlets and social media users to verify the authenticity of any news and contact the authorities concerned before publishing groundless information that may cause confusion among citizens.
