Egypt’s exports to Malaysia rose 13.3 per cent in the first eight months of 2026 to $68 million, up from $60 million in the same period last year, the Central Agency for Public Mobilisation and Statistics said on Friday.
Egyptian imports from Malaysia fell 6.4 per cent to $427 million, compared with $456 million a year earlier, the agency said.
Bilateral trade between the two countries declined 4.1 per cent to $495 million from $516 million, due to the drop in Egyptian imports, it added.
