The Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday that Egypt’s Embassy in Hungary completed the travel procedures of 23 Egyptians coming from Budapest Airport in coordination with the Civil Aviation Ministry, EgyptAir, and Hungarian authorities.
Egypt’s Ambassador in Hungary Mohamed El Shennawy headed for Budapest airport to bid farewell to the Egyptians who are on their way home, the ministry said in a press release.
The move comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to repatriate all Egyptians stranded in Ukraine.
