CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawi said Egypt’s battle with terrorism is comprehensive.
This came during a tour made by Shaarwai, along with Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi and South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda, to the Taba border crossing on the 33th anniversary of hoisting the Egyptian flag in Taba, which is marked on March 19, South Sinai governorate said in a statement Friday.
The visit also coincides with the governorate’s national day, it added.
The three officials were briefed in detail on work mechanisms there, in addition to the security and precautionary measures taken for the safety and security of those arriving in the country through the border crossing.
In this regard, the local development minister lauded the measures taken at the border crossing, calling for facilitating procedures for tourists entering Egypt via the crossing.
