A number of Egyptians living in Germany on Friday flocked to the Egyptian Embassy there to make support documents for Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. They raised portraits of the president high in front of the embassy building, chanting, “Long Live Egypt,” and called on him to run for a new term in the next presidential vote.
For his part, the head of the Egyptian Family House in Germany, Alaa Thabet, announced the launch of a campaign to support President Sisi in the upcoming presidential elections under the slogan “The Egyptian community in Germany – One hand,” in coordination with Egyptian influential figures working and living in Berlin. He stressed that he is in contact with all Egyptian communities in Germany with the aim of shedding light on huge achievements made by President Sisi in all fields. He demanded them to actively participate in the upcoming presidential elections.
