Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli received the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini on Wednesday. They discussed a number of issues of mutual interest within the framework of the close ties between the two brotherly countries.
Prime Minister Madbouli reaffirmed the depth of the longstanding historical and strategic relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
He stressed the mutual commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation across various fields in a way that serves the interests of both nations.
Madbouli also highlighted the continued coordination between the two countries on regional and international issues of common concern.
Both sides reviewed ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation, increase bilateral trade, and explore available investment opportunities in Egypt across several promising sectors.
Discussions also covered ongoing joint projects, with both sides underscoring the importance of addressing any challenges facing investors and fostering a more attractive and supportive business environment, in the light of Egypt’s ongoing comprehensive economic and structural reforms.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Husseini affirmed his country’s pride in its strong relations with Egypt and its commitment to strengthening cooperation across various fields.
