The Egyptian Military Academy held a graduation ceremony for the second vocational training course for trainees from the Suez Canal Authority’s (SCA) Port Fouad Vocational Training Centre, following the completion of their training at the Military Technological College.
The event was held as part of the Armed Forces’ efforts to strengthen co-operation with government ministries and institutions and support the development and qualification of skilled human resources across various specialisations.
The programme featured a documentary highlighting the stages of designing and implementing the training course in line with the latest training and educational systems adopted by Armed Forces educational institutions, followed by the announcement of the course results.
In a speech on behalf of the graduates, the senior trainee expressed their appreciation for the Armed Forces’ care and support throughout the programme. He said the training had provided them with advanced knowledge, practical skills and professional values that would enable them to carry out their assigned duties efficiently and effectively.
Major General Sherif Abdel Halim El-Gamal, Deputy Director of the Egyptian Military Academy for the Military Technological College, said the Armed Forces remained committed to developing training and qualification programmes for trainees from civilian institutions. He stressed the importance of equipping participants with the scientific and practical expertise required to perform their duties to the highest standards.
Major General Staff Mohamed Salah El-Turki, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their professional careers. He highlighted the importance of such programmes in building a qualified workforce within state institutions, equipped with the knowledge and expertise provided by modern training and professional development systems.
SCA Chairman Mohab Mamish thanked the General Command of the Armed Forces for its continued efforts to train and qualify young Egyptians across a range of specialisations. He stressed the importance of the programme in developing human resources capable of keeping pace with the authority’s modernisation efforts.
Assistant Minister of Defence Major General Staff Sherif El-Arayshi reaffirmed the General Command of the Armed Forces’ commitment to providing comprehensive support to enhance the capabilities of personnel across the country’s ministries and state institutions.
The ceremony concluded with the exchange of commemorative shields and honouring the course’s top-performing graduates.
The ceremony was attended by a number of Armed Forces commanders and SCA officials.
