An Egyptian medical delegation has begun performing several major and quality surgeries at both the Shifa Medical Complex and the European Gaza Hospital in Gaza Strip.
The mission of the delegation which arrived in Gaza Strip last Thursday comes in pursuance of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to state institutions to support the Palestinians in Gaza.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza received the Egyptian delegation upon arrival in the strip. The delegation included consultants in such vital specializations as cardiovascular, orthopedic, spine and deformity surgery.
The Egyptian medical delegation’s mission in the Gaza Strip is expected to continue for ten days during which it would perform the largest possible number of surgeries at the Strip’s hospitals in addition to assisting the Palestinian medical staff and providing various medical services to Gazans.
This comes as part of relieving the suffering endured by the citizens of the Gaza Strip and in light of President Sisi’s declaration of Egypt’s commitment to rapidly improving the living conditions of Gaza residents.
