During his current official visit to France, Egyptian Air Force Air-Vice Marshal Mahmoud Fouad Abdel Gawad met with General Stéphane Mille, Chief of Staff of the French Air and Space Force on Thursday.
Both sides asserted the need for opening up new horizons of cooperation and strategic partnership between Egyptian and French air forces. They also agreed on the importance of exchanging experience between both sides.
General Fouad Abdel Gawad lauded the fruitful cooperation with the French companies operating in aviation industry and their positive role in supporting and raising the fighting abilities of the Egyptian Air Force.
General Fouad ‘s visit to France included a tour of the Mont-de-Marsan Air Base and the operations centre.
The two commanders lauded fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Egyptian Armed Forces and French companies working in the aviation industry and its positive role in enhancing the efficiency and combat capabilities of the Egyptian Air Force.
During his visit to France, the Egyptian Air Force commander visited the French space command and the Mont-de-Marsan Air Base.
Abdel Gawad also inspected the French Air operations center and the advanced simulation center.
