Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati joined an online meeting with members of the Egyptian community in Jordan on Monday as part of daily follow‑up on Egyptian expatriates in the Gulf and Levant amid regional military escalation.
The session included Deputy Foreign Minister Nabil Habashi, Assistant Minister for Consular Affairs Haddad El‑Gohary, Egypt’s Ambassador in Amman Khaled El‑Abiad, and Consul Ahmed Ismail Osman in Aqaba.
Abdel-Aati stressed the ministry’s commitment to direct communication and continuous care for Egyptians abroad, noting that conditions for the community remain generally reassuring. Habashi urged compliance with Jordanian regulations and praised the role of the embassy and consulate in supporting Egyptians and facilitating consular services.
The meeting featured interactive discussion with community members, addressing their concerns and proposals. Officials reaffirmed the ministry’s dedication to providing support and protection, underscoring ongoing efforts to serve Egyptians overseas.
