Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a phone call on Wednesday with his Canadian counterpart Mélanie Joly on means of promoting bilateral cooperation in various domains as well as the latest developments at the regional and international issues.
The two sides also referred to continued improvement in the economic and trade relations between the two countries, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
Shoukry said Egypt is looking forward to enhancing relations at all levels for the best interests of both countries.
The meeting also tackled an array of regional and international issues of mutual concern, Hafez said, noting that the two sides agreed to hold continued consultations and coordination in the coming period.
