The Egyptian cabinet approved during a meeting on Wednesday – under Premier Moustafa Madbouli – a number of important decisions.

The decisions included that the civilian families of those killed or injured in military, security or terrorist operations would enjoy the same conditions for getting housing units of army and police martyrs and injured personnel.

The cabinet also approved issuing needed licenses for establishing more buildings at the faculty of engineering of the Alexandria University.

It also approved measures to issue needed licenses for implementing the second stage of the Al Ittihad Alexandria Club in Smoha district in Alexandria.

The cabinet also approved a decision by the New Urban Communities Authority to allocate a plot of land in Cairo governorate to establish a hospital.

The cabinet also sanctioned a study conducted by the Finance Ministry upon a request by Sohag governorate to sell a piece of land to a students association in order to establish a school in collaboration with the private sector.

The cabinet approved a presidential decree on a technical cooperation grant at 600,000 euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to finance the Alexandria-Abu Qir metro project.

The cabinet also approved a presidential decree on a financing deal with the African Development Bank at 83 million euros for a program for supporting the electricity sector and green growth.
