Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call on Monday with his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani to review bilateral relations and regional issues.
The two ministers exchanged views on current regional tensions, stressing the need to intensify efforts to contain escalation and create conditions for resuming political and diplomatic tracks to resolve crises. They underlined the importance of respecting international law, safeguarding maritime security and ensuring freedom of navigation in international waterways to preserve regional stability.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued consultation and coordination between Egypt and Bahrain, building on the momentum in bilateral ties to strengthen joint Arab action.
