The Egyptian Armed Forces conducted a number of training exercises on Tuesday in the Third Field Army and the Northern Military Zone.
In the Third Field Army, a unit conducted the main phase of an external command center project with two levels. The exercise lasted several days and was part of the military’s combat training plan.
The main phase began with the implementation of preparation and organization procedures for the elements participating in the project and the presentation of combat readiness reports and cooperation procedures. This was followed by a review of the command and control centers to ensure their readiness.
During the phase, the participating elements demonstrated their skills in using the latest command and control systems to carry out planned and emergency tasks during the project phases. The exercise also showed the high combat readiness of the Third Field Army.
In the Northern Military Zone, a unit conducted a practical demonstration of the best way to implement technical security procedures for equipment and vehicles. The exercise included a number of different training phases, including a presentation of the plan for executing the demonstration, the best methods for maintaining the technical efficiency of equipment, and the implementation of maintenance and repair work to ensure their safety in accordance with the scientific standards in place.
The project and demonstration were attended by a number of military leaders and a number of students from military colleges and institutes.
