CAIRO – Egypt’s Ambassador to South Sudan Moataz Moustafa Abdel Qader had talks with South Sudan Vice President Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior on means of promoting bilateral ties in various domains in the coming period, especially in the fields of women’s rights and youth empowerment.
Abdel Qader underlined the depth of bilateral ties, said a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Facebook.
He also stressed Egypt’s keenness on furthering ties with South Sudan in various domains.
Abdel Qader reviewed the achievements realized by Egypt in empowering and supporting women, especially in view of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s interest in supporting women in all walks of life.
For her part, the Sudanese vice president lauded the level of bilateral ties and voiced appreciation to Egypt’s support for South Sudan.
The two sides also reviewed means of transferring Egyptian expertise in the fields of women, youth and sports to South Sudan.
