EgyptAir congratulated Star Alliance, a global airline alliance, on winning the award for the best airline alliance in the world at the World Travel Awards ceremony. The ceremony was held in Dubai. Theo Panagiotopoulos, CEO of Star Alliance, expressed his happiness with these awards, saying, “We are truly proud to have won the World Travel Awards for the fourth consecutive year. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of Star Alliance employees who strive to provide a comfortable and smooth travel experience for customers.”
Panagiotopoulos added that “our success was made possible not only through the hard work of our employees across the alliance, but also through the great trust and continued support that the alliance and member companies enjoy with our valued customers. We are truly grateful for this.”
Graham E. Cook, founder of the World Travel Awards, said, “We would like to express our congratulations to Star Alliance for winning the Leading Airline Alliance Award in the World for 2023. This is a great achievement that reflects how the brand sets the standard for the global airline alliance.” He explained that “the commitment of the entire Star Alliance team is an inspiration to us all.”
