EgyptAir Cargo has successfully renewed its “RA3” certification following a rigorous security inspection by the European Union. The certification, which is essential for air carriers transporting cargo and mail from non-EU airports to European Union member states and the United Kingdom, underscores the airline’s adherence to stringent security and safety protocols.

Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, commended the employees of EgyptAir Cargo for their dedication and commitment, which contributed to the successful completion of the inspection. He emphasized that the renewal of the “RA3” certification is a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to international security, safety, and quality standards in air cargo operations. Additionally, it reinforces EgyptAir Cargo’s compliance with EU regulations, which mandate strict security measures for the handling, storage, and transportation of cargo and mail destined for Europe and the UK.

Adel further highlighted that this achievement would not have been possible without the relentless efforts of the company’s workforce. Their expertise and commitment continue to be the driving force behind EgyptAir Cargo’s pursuit of excellence and leadership in the air cargo industry.

He acknowledged the preparedness of the company’s personnel and their strict adherence to the established security protocols at various operational sites, including cargo complexes in Cairo and Alexandria.

El-Tahtawy emphasized that the renewal of the “RA3” certification ensures that EgyptAir Cargo maintains the highest standards in cargo and mail handling, in full compliance with international and European security regulations. He also expressed appreciation for the diligent efforts of security personnel, as well as the collaborative coordination between the Ministry of Interior, airport authorities, and the Customs Authority, which played a crucial role in the successful inspection process.
