Former assistant of foreign minister Gamal Bayoumi said that Egypt has warned the international community and all the parties concerned from the escalation of the military operations in the Red Sea zone and the air raids directed to a number of places in Yemen which comes as a result of the Israeli war against the Gaza Strip.
In statements to MENA on Saturday, Bayoumi said that Egypt urged an immediate ceasefire and warned the world that the continuous Israeli aggression against the Gazans would expand the range of war in the region.
The plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause via genocide, siege and displacement prodded Houthis and Hezbollah along with other parties into interfering in the conflict to defend the Palestinians against occupation and this will indulge the region into regional war that would destabilize the Middle East and threaten international peace and security, he said.
The only way to avoid expanding the war and rescue Middle East from murder and destruction is the two-state solution, Bayoumi said.
Bayoumi criticized the Israeli disrespect to the international laws and conventions and not abiding by the international legitimate resolutions.
