Egyptian Senate Speaker Abdel Wahab Abdel Razik asserted the strength of historic ties between Egypt and Uzbekistan.
This came on Tuesday during Abdel Razik’s meeting with Uzbek Senate Speaker Tanzila Narbaeva and her accompanying delegation.
He added that Egypt is looking forward to developing bilateral ties especially in the parliamentarian and legislative fields in addition to cultural and economic domains.
Narbaeva lauded the accomplishments that took place in Egypt since President Abdel Fattah El Sisi took office.
Narbaeva invited Abdel Razik to visit Uzbekistan early in 2023 to promote exchanging parliamentarian expertise, lauding the increase of women representation in the Egyptian parliament.
