Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co‑operation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha to discuss ways of enhancing bilateral relations and reviewing regional and international issues of common interest.
Badr Abdelatty congratulated his counterpart on his reappointment by the Ukrainian parliament, expressing Egypt’s readiness to continue advancing co-operation through political consultations, joint committees, and expanded economic and trade ties.
The two ministers also addressed developments in the Ukrainian crisis. Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s support for reaching a political settlement, stressing the importance of de‑escalation and diplomatic solutions to end the conflict and reinforce global security and stability.
This exchange highlights Egypt’s commitment to Ukraine relations, conflict resolution, and international diplomacy.
