Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid held meetings on Friday with representatives of UAE-based groups IRH Global Trading, ePointZero and Sial to discuss their investment plans and expansion opportunities in the Egyptian market during his official visit to Abu Dhabi.
During the meetings, Farid outlined the latest developments in Egypt’s economy and the government’s efforts to improve the investment climate and streamline procedures for investors. He also highlighted investment opportunities and projects available across several priority sectors.
Discussions during the meetings focused on means of boosting communication and co-ordination with the relevant Egyptian authorities and providing the companies with the data and information needed to assess potential investment and expansion opportunities in Egypt.
The minister urged the companies to explore available investment opportunities and consider expanding their projects in Egypt, reaffirming the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade’s commitment to maintaining close communication with investors and providing them with the necessary data and information on available projects.
He said investment promotion efforts aim to highlight opportunities in high-value-added sectors with strong economic and export potential, while further strengthening partnerships with Emirati investors.
