Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati met his Turkish and Saudi counterparts, Hakan Fidan and Prince Faisal bin Farhan, in the Mediterranean city of El Alamein on Thursday evening, in what was described as a “brotherly” meeting, according to the foreign ministry.
The three top diplomats discussed the latest developments in the region, the ministry said.
The meeting comes amid intensive regional diplomatic contacts involving Cairo, Ankara and Riyadh on a range of files affecting the Middle East.
