Egypt, Türkiye and Qatar, acting in their capacity as mediating countries, strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, which have resulted in the loss of civilian lives, including women and children.
In a joint statement, the three countries expressed deep concern over the continuing violations.
The mediators stressed that the escalation of Israeli attacks undermines regional and international efforts at a critical juncture, as intensive efforts are under way to implement the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict.
These efforts include a meeting between the Board of Peace and Israeli officials, alongside constructive progress in the negotiation process.
The mediating countries emphasised the urgent need for Israel to honour all its obligations under the ceasefire agreement and refrain from actions that could further jeopardise the ceasefire or contribute to a wider escalation of tensions.
In light of the devastating consequences of the continued Israeli aggression in the region, the three countries renewed their appeal to the international community and the Board of Peace, under the leadership of President Trump and as endorsed by UN Security Council Resolution 2803, to take all necessary measures to ensure compliance with the ceasefire and exert effective pressure to prevent any further escalation.
