Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation, Badr Abdel-Aati held discussions with his Turkish and Pakistani counterparts.

In separate phone calls with Pakistani Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the ministers agreed to maintain close consultations and pursue intensive efforts to prevent further military escalation and support regional stability.

Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, Tamim Khallaf, said the calls included an exchange of views and assessments regarding the consequences of the military escalation and ongoing efforts to reduce tensions.

The ministers also reviewed intensive trilateral efforts aimed at initiating direct negotiations between the United States and Iran, reinforcing the importance of diplomacy and dialogue as an alternative to military action, which could otherwise drive the region into widespread chaos, violence, and terrorism.

Khallaf added that Minister Abdel-Aati stressed the importance of coordinated regional and international action to contain the situation, noting that a path of de-escalation and focusing on diplomatic solutions represents the only viable approach to managing the current crisis.

He expressed hope that the joint Egyptian-Turkish-Pakistani efforts would lead to a reduction in tensions and the start of a gradual de-escalation process, ultimately paving the way for an end to the war.
