CAIRO – Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă said Sunday that Egypt tops his country’s trade destinations in Africa.
Addressing the Egyptian-Romanian Business Forum in Cairo, Ciucă added that relations between Egypt and Romania are promising and are at their best.
Romania has supported its economy, which has grown eightfold since 2020, the visiting premier said.
Despite the difficulties we confront, the government invested 3 billion euros last year, he added.
Over $11 billion of European funding has improved infrastructure and created new work possibilities in the country, Ciucă said.
We are eager to join our partners in sharing these economic and social gains, he added.
A number of CEOs from various industries, including energy, gas, petroleum, power production, and renewable energy, accompany me on this tour, confirming our productive partnership with Egypt, the Romanian premier said.
