CAIRO – Egypt is set to host the eighth edition of the African Wushu Kung Fu Championship by end of March, President of the Egyptian and African Wushu Kung Fu Federation Sherif Mostafa said on Monday.
In statements, Mostafa noted about 200 players from 14 countries will take part in the championship, adding Egypt resumed hosting the African Wushu Kung Fu tournaments after a five-year hiatus in the implementation of the political leadership’s directives to host various sports events.
Preparations are underway to set a date of arrival of African delegates participating in the championship, he added.
