Egypt strongly condemned the Israeli shelling of al Mawasi district in Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip causing the death and injury of scores of innocent Palestinian civilians.
In a statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration on Saturday, Egypt urged Israel to stop taking away lives of the unarmed civilians and abide by the international law and the humanitarian international law.
The statement asserted that there is no excuse for these hideous crimes.
Egypt asserted that these continuous violations against the Palestinians complicate things for the efforts exerted to reach a truce and a ceasefire and increase humanitarian suffering of the Palestinians amidst complete shameful global silence and disability.
