President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed on Wednesday that Egypt always stands by its brothers in times of crises and ordeals, saying history will record Egypt’s steadfast and wise positions in promoting security, stability, and peace in the region.

Sisi made the remarks during a visit to the Egyptian Military Academy, accompanied by Defense Minister Abdel Meguid Saqr, Chief of Staff and Military Production Ahmed Khalifa and commanders of the Armed Forces main branches. Sisi took Iftar, the meal marking the end of the daily Ramadan fast, with academy members, new cadets, and their families, along with civilian program trainees.

President Sisi extended his greetings over the anniversary of the tenth of Ramadan that coincides with marking the Martyr’s Day, stressing that Egypt will never forget the sacrifices of its heroes who gave their lives to protect national security and safeguard the country’s sovereignty.

Presidential Spokesman Mohamed el Shennawi said President Sisi expounded efforts taken by the State’s institutions to secure a decent life to citizens, urging academy cadets and civilian trainees to work diligently throughout their studies to become future leaders.

The president paid tribute to the families of cadets, acknowledging their role in raising young people on strong values and a deep love for their country.

Sisi said that the state addresses challenges with careful planning, patience, and perseverance, stressing that national unity is key to overcoming any difficulties.

He noted that cadets at the academy receive specialized academic programs in psychology, sociology, engineering, political science, and logistics to prepare them for responsibilities with strong scientific and professional foundations.

Sisi reassured families that students are in safe hands, receiving full support and training in all necessary fields.

Addressing the current developments, President Sisi stressed that Egyptians are capable of overcoming anything as long as they are united.

At a time the world and not just the region is witnessing rapid and contradictory developments, the State is keen to address any issue or challenge with careful calculations and a lot of patience, the president said.

He assured Egyptians that the State is capable of handling any challenge no matter how tough it is.

Sisi said Egypt always prioritizes de-escalation and works for realizing calm and stability and preventing wars and conflicts.

He again assured Egyptians that the country is safe and secure.
