Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy met today at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital with Singapore’s Ambassador to Egypt, Dominic Goh, and Ron Tan, CEO of NEON Global, the company organizing the “Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs” exhibition. The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides to explore ways of strengthening cooperation.
Discussions focused on the possibility of organizing a series of temporary Egyptian antiquities exhibitions in major cities across Europe, the United States, and Asia. These exhibitions aim to showcase Egypt’s ancient civilization and promote its diverse tourism offerings, particularly cultural tourism.
The talks also addressed plans for the “Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs” exhibition to continue touring additional U.S. cities after its current run in London. The exhibition has achieved notable success internationally, attracting around 68,000 visitors in London between February and early May.
Participants further highlighted the Grand Egyptian Museum, praising its unique visitor experience, advanced display techniques, and unparalleled collection of artifacts.
