Egypt signed a contract with the French Dassault Aviation company to purchase 30 Rafale jet fighters.
The deal, which is part of Egypt political leadership’s keenness to develop and upgrade the state’s comprehensive forces, will be financed through a loan to be re-paid over at least 10 years.
In 2015, Egypt signed a deal with France to purchase 24 Rafale jets for the Egyptian Air Force, the long arm that secures the Egyptian national interests.
A Rafale jet has high battling capabilities that include the ability to carry out long-range missions, an advanced armament system, high maneuverability, and multiplicity of weapon systems.
It also enjoys a distinguished advanced electronic warfare system that enables it to carry out all missions with full competence and efficiency.
