Egypt’s Defence Minister Mohamed Zaki has conferred with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and his accompanying delegation following official reception ceremony at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of Defence Ministry, the Armed Forces spokesman said.
The Serbian minister of defence is currently in Egypt on an official visit that lasts for several days.
Discussions during the meeting covered a number of issues of common interest in light of the areas of military co-operation and the transfer and exchange of expertise between the Egyptian and Serbian armed forces.
In remarks during the meeting,
Minister Zaki expressed appreciation of the partnership relations between the two sides in various military fields, stressing the keenness of the General Command of the Egyptian Armed Forces to increase co-operation between the two friendly countries in various military fields.
For his part, the Serbian defence minister expressed full appreciation for Egypt’s active role in its regional and international surrounding, hoping that the next stage will witness support for new horizons in the fields of military co-operation between his country and Egypt, the spokesman said.
