The Ministry of Youth and Sports extends its sincere congratulations to the Egyptian Wushu Kung Fu national team following their remarkable achievement at the World Junior and Youth Championships, currently taking place in Nanjing, China.

Competing against a strong field of international participants, the Egyptian delegation delivered an outstanding performance, securing a total of ten medals in a historic showing, the ministry said in a statement.

It added that this accomplishment underscores the continued advancement of Egyptian sports across a wide range of disciplines, it noted.

In this respect, Minister of Youth Ashraf Sobhi commended both the athletes and the technical staff for their dedication, discipline, and exceptional performance, reaffirming the ministry’s ongoing commitment to supporting national champions and enabling them to achieve further success on the global stage.

The Egyptian team concluded the championship with an impressive medal tally of two gold, two silver, and six bronze medals, reflecting the effectiveness of development programs and sustained investment in athlete preparation.

In the junior category, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Murad claimed the silver medal in the 48 kg division, while Yazan Ahmed Mohamed Abdo secured silver in the 52 kg division, and Yassin Nasser Mohamed earned bronze in the 56 kg division.
