Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call on Monday with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to review developments in the region and efforts to contain escalation.
The two ministers stressed the need for an immediate halt to military escalation and reaffirmed that political and diplomatic solutions remain the most effective path to resolving regional crises. They highlighted the importance of close consultation and coordination between Egypt and Saudi Arabia to safeguard regional security and stability and protect the interests of Arab states and their peoples.
