Egypt recorded a slight increase in coronavirus cases, Presidential Advisor for Health Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag el Din said Saturday.

There is nothing to worry about as most cases range from minor to moderate infection, he added in televised statements.

The infection continues to spread and this means that the virus infects more and more individuals, Tag el Din said.

He advised citizens not to take any prescriptions without first visiting a doctor, since some medications may be incompatible with patients who have cardiac or respiratory problems.
