Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye condemn Israeli violations in Gaza 10 - Egyptian Gazette

Egypt, Qatar and Türkiye, acting as mediators, on Monday strongly condemned what they called Israel’s continued violations in the Gaza Strip, particularly attacks on health facilities and the killing of civilians, including women and children.

In a joint statement, the three countries said the incidents amounted to “blatant violations” of international law and international humanitarian law.

The mediators urged Israel to comply with its obligations under international law and fully implement the ceasefire agreement, warning that the continued violations undermined the deal and threatened efforts to move to its second phase.

They said the developments were especially concerning after Hamas and other Palestinian factions agreed to a roadmap for the next phase, including provisions on restricting weapons.

Egypt, Qatar and Türkiye called for full protection of civilians, medical facilities and humanitarian workers, as well as unimpeded access for humanitarian aid and medical supplies across Gaza.

They also urged the international community to pressure Israel to fulfill its obligations under international law and the ceasefire agreement, in order to ensure implementation of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan.

The mediators said reaching agreement on the roadmap for the second phase was described by Trump as “a historic agreement,” and warned against efforts to undermine a sustainable de-escalation leading to a permanent ceasefire and an end to humanitarian suffering in Gaza.
