Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said on Thursday that the information and communications technology (ICT) is very promising sector, reiterating the government’s keenness on developing it.
Madbouli made the remarks during his visit of a number of global companies operating in the outsourcing domain in the Smart Village, including Vodafone Intelligent Solutions company (VOIS).
He lauded the outstanding performance and the high skills of young people whom he met during the visit, saying they are very promising and have good opportunities to have their own business.
The communications sector is a top priority for the political leadership because this sector does not require production requirements and does not represent a burden on the state but on the contrary it contributes to creating resources for the Egyptian state, the premier said.
There is a dire need for young people to access more this sector and stop clinging to traditional jobs because this promising sector can secure them best-ever opportunities, he added.
