ِEgyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB), is participating in the Arabian Travel Market 2023 (ATM) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from May 1 to 4.

Fifty-four tour operators and hotel companies, along with EgyptAir, Air Cairo and Nesma Airlines participate.

Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism Affairs, opened the Egyptian pavilion with South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda, and CEO of the ETPB Amr el-Qadi.

Shalaby met with representatives and officials of international tourism companies and hotels to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and attract more tourists to Egyptian tourist destinations, especially from the Arab market.

El-Qadi held a meeting with representatives of the Saudi Tourism Authority to discuss aspects of joint cooperation. A number of meetings were also held with tour operators and airlines to discuss cooperation through joint promotional campaigns to boost tourism to Egypt.

The two Egyptian officials met with representatives of Qatar Airways and a Qatari tour company to discuss cooperation with Qatar Airways in markets in Latin America, South and East Asia. The meeting also focused on joint promotional campaigns and introductory trips to Egyptian tourist destinations.

The 30th ATM, themed ‘Working Towards Net Zero’, will explore the future of sustainable travel.
The Egyptian pavilion shaped like the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza covers 612 square metres.
Egypt earlier expected tourism this year to reach 15 million and aims to increase tourist numbers to 30 million annually by 2028.
