The Ministry of Social Solidarity isreceiving applications for the second edition of the “Farhet Masr” (Egypt’s Joy) initiative, held under the patronage of Egypt’s First Lady Entissar El-Sisi.
The initiative aims to support young men and women from the most vulnerable families who are preparing for marriage. It seeks to contribute to furnishing marital homes and to provide psychological and social preparation programmes.
The registration is open to eligible applicants, who may apply through the “Farhet Masr” platform “https://farhetmasr.csf.eg.
Eligible groups include beneficiaries of the “Takaful and Karama” cash-support programme, current and former residents of social care institutions and individuals living with foster families, as well as persons with disabilities who meet the initiative’s eligibility requirements.
