Egypt officially receives presidency of COP 27

Egypt officially received on Sunday the presidency of Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC held in Sharm el Sheikh.

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received the presidency of the 27th session from President of COP 26 Alok Sharma.

Egypt hosts the event on November 6-18 with a wide participation of world leaders, regional and international organizations concerned with environment and climate in addition to representatives of local and international media means.
