Egypt on Friday extended its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the government and people of Zimbabwe following a ferry accident on Lake Kariba that claimed dozens of lives and left several others injured.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Co‑operation and Egyptian Expatriates, Egypt conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
Egypt also reaffirmed its full solidarity with Zimbabwe in the wake of the tragic accident.
