CAIRO – Together with world countries, Egypt will mark the International Day for Biological Diversity through the different platforms of the Environment Ministry.
Under the theme of “Building a shared future for all life”, the ministry will post several video clips on the different platforms to raise awareness of the importance of biological diversity and the role of humans and society in preserving natural wealth, said Environment Minister Yassmin Fouad.
Preserving biological diversity is no more luxury but an integral part of our daily life, she said.
This year’s theme underlines the importance of consolidating global solidarity at all levels to build a future compatible with nature, she said, adding that keeping biological diversity is important to face challenges by sustainable development.
