Egypt is making a strong performance at the IDEX Abu Dhabi International Exhibition 2021 for the third time in a row, reflecting the high position of Egypt in the international community, said head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Moneim El-Terras.
In press statements, El-Terras said that many major international companies requested to hold joint meetings with a delegation of the AOI with the aim of strengthening cooperation, exchanging expertise as well as transferring and localizing technology in all defense industries, research and training.
This came as part of the AOI’s participation in a high-level Egyptian delegation in the IDEX 2021 exhibition, which will be held in Abu Dhabi, in the UAE, during the period from February 21 to 25.
The participation of AOI in the current session of the international exhibition is an important opportunity for the authority to open a window to the world by displaying its technological and technical capabilities used in the defense industries, in addition to reviewing the latest developments in the countries participating in the exhibition of modern technology in the field of armament and defense systems.
The first days of the exhibition witnessed intense activity by the AOI, where many discussions were held with a number of major international companies with the aim of deepening local manufacturing and localizing modern technology in a number of defense industries and research.
